Litti Chokha is a very rustic dish. It is best prepared with freshly available ingredients and mustard oil gives a distinct taste to it.

INGREDIENTS
For the Stuffing:
- Sattu – 2 cups
- Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
- Chilli – chopped – 2
- Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped
- Lemon 1
- Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
- Lal mirch ka achar – 1 tsp
- Kalunji – 1/2 tsp
- Saloni Mustard oil – 3 tsp
For the dough:
- Wheat flour – 4 cups
- salt to taste
- Saloni Mustard Oil – 2 tsps
For the chokha
- Bhartha Baingan – 1
- Boiled potatoes – 2 medium sized
- Tomatoes – 2 medium sized
- garlic cloves – 3
- onion – 2, diced
- coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
- Saloni mustard oil – 2 tsp
- salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
Step 1. Mix all the ingredients under stuffing well. Add 3 tsp of mustard oil and mix well with hands. It should form a grainy texture.
For the dough.
Step 2. Mix all the ingredients in the dough. Add water and prepare a tight dough.Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3. Later, take a lemon sized dough and roll it flat into 3 inches.
Step 4. Fill this 3/4th with the stuffing and roll it into a ball again.
Step 5. Repeat this for the entire dough prepared.
Step 6. Bake these in an oven at 200 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
Step 7. Keep checking if they are completely baked.
For the chokha
Step 8. Roast eggplant, tomatoes, and garlic, separately on a naked flame. Let cool.
Step 9. Mash these along with potatoes.
Step 10. Add the remaining ingredients and give a good mix. Your Litti Chokha is ready
